Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TimingoJobs, an automated job search, document tailoring, and application-filling service operated by Timingotech ("TimingoJobs", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use TimingoJobs.

1. What TimingoJobs does

TimingoJobs discovers job postings from public job boards, applicant tracking systems, and company career pages; scores them against the profile and resumes you provide; generates a tailored resume and cover letter for roles worth applying to; and fills out the employer's own real application form using an automated browser session acting on your behalf. Where the service can't confidently proceed on its own - a login, a one-time verification code, a sensitive personal question, or anything it isn't confident about - it pauses and asks you directly rather than guessing.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use TimingoJobs. You sign in with your email address and a one-time code sent to it - there's no password to manage, but you're responsible for keeping access to that email address secure, since it's how your account is verified. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself - your resume, contact details, and any other profile information you submit are used to represent you on real applications, so their accuracy is your responsibility.

3. Credits, billing, and refunds

Searching, scoring, matching, resume tailoring, and cover letter generation are always free. One credit is spent only when the agent actually begins a real application attempt - not merely when a job is discovered or scored. If an attempt gets stuck and isn't resolved within 24 hours, you're refunded automatically and it's retried once.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month and can be cancelled anytime from your billing settings; cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period. One-time credit top-ups don't expire; the Job Hunt Pack is valid for 90 days from purchase, after which unused credits from that specific purchase are forfeited. All payments are processed by Paystack; we don't store your full card details ourselves.

4. Automation and your responsibility

TimingoJobs can submit real, binding applications to real employers on your behalf. You're responsible for reviewing your own profile, resumes, and any AI-suggested answers you've approved for reuse, since they're what gets submitted in your name. The service never auto-answers a genuinely sensitive personal question (things like a Social Security number, date of birth, criminal history, security clearance, or past salary) - those are always escalated to you directly. You can pause or stop automation at any time from your settings.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use TimingoJobs to misrepresent your identity or qualifications, to knowingly submit false information on an application, to share your account with someone else, or to attempt to interfere with the service's normal operation. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms.

6. No guarantee of outcome

TimingoJobs is a tool to assist a real job search - it does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment of any kind. Outcomes depend on factors entirely outside our control, including the hiring decisions of the employers you apply to.

7. Third-party services

TimingoJobs relies on third-party services to work: AI providers (OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude) to score jobs and generate tailored content; Paystack to process payments; Google for the optional Gmail connection; and Twilio/WhatsApp for optional WhatsApp notifications. Your use of any optional integration is also subject to that provider's own terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using TimingoJobs and request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us at team@timingotech.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the service or other users.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

TimingoJobs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll make reasonable efforts to let you know before it takes effect. Continuing to use TimingoJobs after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
